U12: Hard luck to the footballers who lost out to Templederry in the North 'C' final last weekend. Both sides started well, with Templederry first on the score sheet. Following some chances of our own, Charlie Crosse scored a goal to settle the team. Just before halftime Daryl Ryan scored a two pointer from a free. The halftime score was 1-2 each. The second half proved another tight affair, despite a huge work rate from all the players they couldn't get scores on the board. Final score was 2-03 to 1-02.

Earlier last week this team defeated Borrisileigh in the North hurling semifinal. Level at halftime, they pulled away in the 2nd have to earn their place in the final. They play Templederry this weekend in the final. Check fixtures for details, all support would be appreciated.

U14: In the final group game, the hurlers lost to Kilruane 5-17 to 1-17. Preparations now begin for the quarter final in a few weeks.

Minor: Hard luck to the hurlers who lost the North 'B' semifinal to Naomh Eoin last week. Thanks to all the players and management team for their efforts throughout the year.

Tipperary draw: Reminder to enter the Tipperary GAA draw. The deadline to enter is before the first draw on Friday 28th Aug.
