U13: Hard luck to our U13 footballers who lost out to Killenaule in the County B final last week. Killenaule started strongly take an early lead, but we came back into the game with 1-01. The half-time score was 1-03 to 0-07. In a very tight game scores in the 2nd half were at a premium with both defences on top. Despite all our players efforts they could not reduce the deficit and lost 1-03 to 0-09. A huge effort was put in all year by the players and management team. Well done on all for reaching the final.
Larry Looby Memorial: In a busy week for our u13s, they participated in a hurling tournament in The Ragg last Saturday. They played Moycarkey and Loughmore and then defeated Borrisileigh in the Shield final. Thanks to Drom and Inch and the Looby family for the invitation.
Blitzes: The U7, U9 and U11 teams all played games over the last week. It is great to see all the efforts in the training coming out in play during the matches. Training continues each Tuesday evening and Saturday morning.
Exams: Best of luck to all our players that have upcoming exams.
Sympathies: The club expresses it sympathies to the Ryan and Kennedy families on the recent losses. May Michael and Denis rest in peace.
